Jen and Nathaniel spent the past 12 months transforming their eating habits, health, bodies, and lives with personal help from a PN coach. And now? They’re our latest Grand Prize winners. See how we surprised them with $25,000 each, and meet the rest of our January 2019 Precision Nutrition Coaching winners.

++++

Every six months, in our Precision Nutrition Coaching program, we give away more than $125,000 to the men and women who have the most incredible, inspiring body transformations.

Yep, that’s more than $250,000 a year.

And today, you’ll meet our latest amazing winners.

These folks started working with us in January 2018 and—over the course of the past year—completely transformed how they eat, move, look, and feel.

They lost weight, gained strength, boosted their health, and inspired their friends and families.

What’s more, they did all of this without extreme diets or crazy workout routines. There were no meal plans or off-limit foods. No unbreakable rules. No deprivation. And perhaps best of all, no guilt.

Each person simply committed to making a change, stayed consistent, and used the accountability and support of one of our dedicated coaches.

$25,000 Grand Prize Winner: Jen

Lost 54 lbs and 43 total inches!

Age: 42 years
Weight Lost: 54 lbs (from 182 lbs to 128 lbs)
Total Inches Lost: 43 inches (from 234 inches to 191 inches)

Nobody could ever accuse Jen Kruczek of being a couch potato.

She plays softball. Flag football. Indoor soccer.

She loves boxing. Tennis. Swimming. Yoga. Running.

“I hate having to choose,” she laughs. “I want to do it all!”

Jen’s athleticism had always been key to her identity. There was just one little problem: By the time she turned 40, her performance just wasn’t what it used to be.

Her joints felt stiffer. She tired more easily. She couldn’t always follow through on her softball coach’s suggestions.

And a series of five hamstring injuries in a year and a half didn’t help.

Nothing in Jen’s life had given her the same pleasure and sense of fulfillment as movement. And now, movement was becoming… complicated.

Was this the start of a downward spiral?

The prospect of losing mobility and strength was so upsetting that it forced Jen to ask herself a difficult question.

Could her struggles in the gym and on the field be traced to the 40 or 50 extra pounds she was carrying?

Weight had always been an issue for Jen. She’d try a diet, lose fifteen or twenty pounds, go off the diet, and quickly regain. It was demoralizing. She was tired of living that way.

Even worse was the frustration she felt. She wasn’t ignorant. She understood the basics of healthy eating.

She knew what she was supposed to do. So why was it so hard to make the change?

Jen knew she needed a true game changer. Reading about Precision Nutrition Coaching’s daily lessons appealed to her orderly, organized side. It seemed like the kind of program that could help her trade less healthy habits for better ones… for good.

With her coach and fellow clients providing support and accountability, Jen put down the cheese curls. Stopped going for takeout every day after the gym. Learned how to make mindful choices in the break room at work when the aroma of homemade donuts or bagels enticed her.

Slowly but surely, she started losing weight. Still, she didn’t realize how well the program was working until her ninth month, when she signed up for a half marathon.

Jen had run about a dozen half marathons in the past. But each successive run had seemed just a little bit tougher. In fact, she’d made her best time on her very first race back when she was 30.

Looking ahead, she didn’t think she’d ever be able to top that.

Imagine her surprise when, at the age of 42, she finished a full ten minutes ahead of her previous record. “When I started this program, I just wanted to avoid injuring myself so much,” she says.

Now, she’s not only injury-free, but she’s also performing at a higher level.

“That extra weight was dragging me down. Now it’s gone.”

Jen lives on Cape Cod. On the beach, she’s seen older people who can barely walk in the heavy sand or who struggle to stand up once they’ve settled themselves on a beach towel.

“Thinking about my future, I didn’t want to end up that way,” she says. Instead, she wanted to be like the vibrant 70-year-old who plays on her softball team. Or the women in their sixties who still play soccer with her.

“I want to become that active older person.” Precision Nutrition gave her the tools to make her dream a reality.

Her advice for anyone chasing their own transformation dream?

“Give yourself a year,” she says. “And trust the process.”

$25,000 Grand Prize Winner: Nathaniel

Lost 54 lbs and 42 total inches!

Age: 36 years
Weight Lost: 54 lbs (from 289 lbs to 235 lbs)
Total Inches Lost: 42 inches (from 295 inches to 253 inches)

At 35, Nathaniel knew he had a weight problem.

Indeed, he’d had a weight problem for most of his life.

In 4th grade, he already weighed in at 140 pounds. By high school graduation, he was over 275. And in his early thirties, he’d really let himself go.

Still, he figured he was healthy. He was young, and he’d always been active.

Then, he suddenly found himself in an emergency room waiting for a heart catheterization test. His blood pressure medication wasn’t working. “I failed a stress test,” he recalls. “They had to stop it partway through.”

Hang on, he thought.

“If I don’t make a change, I could die soon.”

Nathaniel credits a friend for guiding him toward Precision Nutrition. “He was a finalist himself a few years back. He knew the company was reliable.”

With his friend’s recommendation, Nathaniel committed himself to the program.

Right from the start, he treated it like a second job. He completed every lesson. Showed up for every workout. Put himself on the line by telling almost everybody he knew about his weight loss plan.

He even promised his kids that if he won, he’d take them to Disneyland. “When a 6-year-old is depending on you, that’s a lot of pressure,” he laughs.

The process wasn’t always easy.

While his family and friends supported him, they didn’t share his goal, so sometimes they’d be eating his favorite foods while he opted for a Tupperware container filled with something lighter.

Even on family vacations, he planned ahead of time and sometimes even brought along his own food to ensure he would have healthy options to choose from.

“They thought I was crazy,” he remembers.

And while he looked forward to exercising most days, there were inevitably some afternoons when he just didn’t feel like going to the gym. On top of that, he had to find ways to work around significant injuries at two different points during the program.

First, he tore his plantar fascia, the connective tissue that spans the bottom of the foot. This confined him to a walking boot and temporarily put an end to any running.

Since running was out of the question, he turned to rowing for aerobic conditioning. But rowing turned out to be a physical and mental trial.

When he started, he could barely squeeze out 11 minutes on the machine. That wasn’t exactly encouraging.

Still, there’d been signs of improvement, and those small progressions were enough to spark his hope and keep him going.

Take his hypertension, for example. About four months into coaching, around the time of that first injury, he started experiencing some weird symptoms again.

Turns out, his blood pressure wasn’t spiking. Instead, it was bottoming out! He’d improved so much that his doctors had to reduce his medications.

And by Nathaniel’s eleventh month—when he tore his biceps tendon playing touch football—eleven minutes of rowing was just a warm up for the two hours he could now sustain.

Not only that, but he’d also been off all blood pressure medications for six months.

Changing the way he ate and moved was only the start.

“I learned to see setbacks as challenges, not excuses,” he explains.

As Nathaniel’s health improved and his mindset shifted, his whole family took note. The changes in his mentality rubbed off.

Today, his wife is taking steps to pursue an important dream of her own.

His older daughter works out with him at the gym.

And his younger daughter’s getting ready to pack for Disneyland.

“I look like a different person now,” Nathaniel reflects. “But the outward changes are nothing compared to the inner changes. I’ve strengthened my mind even more than my body.”

Best of all, he’s healthy.

“At the beginning, this goal seemed so lofty, so unattainable,” he says. Now, he’s eager to tackle new challenges in every facet of his life.

After all, why settle for peak fitness?

I’ve gone from someone in pain and barely able to move to someone who does lunges and squats while cleaning the house. I am proud of my body and what it’s able to do. Oh, and there was that Spartan race I did—and more I plan to do. My whole life has changed. $10,000 men’s Winner:

Age: 44 years

Weight Lost: 58 lbs (225 lbs to 167 lbs)

Total inches lost: 45″ (261″ to 216″)

Before Precision Nutrition Coaching, I was a yo-yo exerciser and a chronic dieter. I would follow a plan for three months, take maybe 6 months off, and then go back on for a month. On and on it went. I was 225 pounds, and I had back problems and severe vertigo from Meniere’s disease, which had me bedridden multiple times a month. But, I decided to commit to 12 months of coaching, and I put my trust in the program. The lessons and exercises were easy to follow, and helped me form habits that will continue well after the program has finished. Fast forward to today: My back (as well as the rest of my body) is stronger, and the pain has disappeared. My last vertigo episode was almost a year ago. I’m the lightest and fittest I’ve been in over 20 years, I have more energy, and I’m more engaged with my work and with my family. I cannot thank the PN program and coaches enough. They’ve helped me achieve so much.

– Warren

Age: 29 years

Weight Lost: 43 lbs (191 lbs to 148 lbs)

Precision Nutrition freed me from the ‘paralysis by analysis’… when you overthink nutrition and exercise to the point that you’re left not knowing what to do… so you don’t do anything at all. When I finally allowed myself to let go of the minutia and just trust the program, things started to shift. I’m amazed at how much success I achieved. PN helped me build a foundation free of nutrition and fitness BS.

– Regan

The program brought me to a better nutritional, physical, and mental state.

Precision Nutrition Coaching has been the best investment in my health that I’ve ever made. – Tony

Vincent

$1,000 men’s Winner:

Age: 60 years

Weight Lost: 14 lbs (200 lbs to 186 lbs)

Total inches lost: 5″ (246″ to 241″)

My Precision Nutrition experience brought me so much more than weight loss. I’ve lost weight dozens of times over the years, but this time I discovered a lot about myself and developed a new relationship with food. I will carry this with me for the rest of my life. Precision Nutrition doesn’t tell you what to do. It showed me the path so I could decide what works best for me and my lifestyle. PN helped me stay accountable while still being human. PN allows for and even expects mistakes, setbacks, and failure. We all fail at times and that’s ok. It’s accepting failure and moving on that leads to success. I’ve learned the value of sleep, rest, stress reduction, and nutrition. Thanks to Precision Nutrition, the weight is lost forever. My cholesterol, blood pressure, and lab tests have all improved significantly, too. I move better, my inflammation is dramatically reduced, and for the first time in decades am relatively pain-free.

– Vincent

Rodney

$1,000 men’s Winner:

Age: 49 years

Weight Lost: 54 lbs (271 lbs to 217 lbs)

Total inches lost: 29″ (244″ to 215″)

Trying to put my experience this year into words is difficult for me. I look back to when I started and how I thought and felt about exercising and eating, and I realize why I couldn’t ever achieve consistency in my health before. I used to think I was lazy, that I had no motivation, that I wasn’t an athlete, and that exercising was a chore to get done. Food was something to limit and control, and certain foods were just off limits. I didn’t see how food could be a tool, and that I had the opportunity to choose things to benefit my health. This year has been this slow, gradual change that has transformed the way I view health and life. So many eating and exercising programs use a “copy and paste” approach: “Do this exactly like I did and you will see these results.” Precision Nutrition Coaching is instead a process of self discovery. It helps you create a life of health that works for you, whatever stage you’re at. The habits and principles PN teaches are flexible and adaptable to anyone’s life. I joined PN because I wanted to lose some weight, but I quickly discovered that PN was so much more than a weight loss program: It was a complete shift in my approach to health. I’ve lost lots of weight, but most importantly, I’ve learned to see myself and my life in a different way. And I learned the consistency I needed in order to accomplish my goals.

– Rodney

Dan

Weight Lost: 36 lbs (217 lbs to 181 lbs)

Total inches lost: 21″ (241″ to 220″)

For years, I’ve struggled with the mental, physical, and emotional roller coaster of weight loss and gain. That’s because I was focusing on the wrong goals and purpose. With the help of Precision Nutrition Coaching, I’ve finally found the true purpose and value of my health and fitness. It’s the glue my life has been missing.

$1,000 men’s Winner:

Age: 47 years

Weight Lost: 46 lbs (229 lbs to 183 lbs)

Total inches lost: 23″ (246″ to 223″)

Like most people, I knew what to eat. What I had forgotten was how to eat. Over this past year, Precision Nutrition Coaching helped me realize this, and it taught me good habits so I could develop a better relationship with food. It also empowered me to take responsibility for my health. This results in the holy grail of sustainable change.

– Alisdair

$1,000 men’s Winner:

Age: 32 years

Weight Lost: 52 lbs (225 lbs to 173 lbs)

Total inches lost: 34″ (253″ to 219″)

The most important thing that I’ve learned from Precision Nutrition Coaching is that I am not tied to any of the past struggles I’ve had with fitness. I’ve changed my mindset. I now know that every second of every day is an opportunity to make choices that lead to a better life. Being able to stay present in the moment has helped me take steps to remain consistent and develop good habits that have stuck with me and will continue to do so.

– Jonas

Marc

$1,000 men’s Winner:

Age: 50 years

Weight Lost: 28 lbs (208 lbs to 180 lbs)

Total inches lost: 5″ (235″ to 230″)

This last year with Precision Nutrition has been one of balance. Finding balance at the gym, in nutrition, and in life have been lessons that have been at the forefront of my PN education. From balancing my family life, my professional life, and my nutritional education, to balancing my go-to, “all or nothing” attitude in the gym, PN has taught me how to keep my life in perspective. It’s allowed me to develop a healthy lifestyle at work and at home, and it’s taught me the principles of healthy eating that I now incorporate into my everyday routine.

Confirm your choice for the Men’s $25,000 Grand Prize winner

When confirming your vote, it’s important to remember that we’re not rewarding the best bodies per se. We’re rewarding the most incredible transformations.

In Precision Nutrition Coaching, we certainly don’t expect folks to start off looking like fitness models. Heck, we don’t even expect folks to end up looking like fitness models.

We’re looking for winners who’ve made the most dramatic changes in their own bodies, starting from wherever they were at the beginning.

That’s because our coaching is for men and women of all shapes and sizes. And your vote should reflect who you think achieved the most dramatic changes over the last 12 months.

Note: There is a poll embedded within this post, please visit the site to participate in this post’s poll.

Want to transform your body just like these men did?

Most people know that regular movement, eating well, sleep, and stress management are important for looking and feeling better. Yet they need help applying that knowledge in the context of their busy, sometimes stressful lives.

Over the past 15 years, we’ve used the Precision Nutrition Coaching method to help over 100,000 clients lose fat, get stronger, and improve their health… for the long-term… no matter what challenges they’re dealing with.

It’s also why we work with health, fitness, and wellness professionals (through our Level 1 and Level 2 Certification programs) to teach them how to coach their own clients through the same challenges.

Interested in Precision Nutrition Coaching? Join the presale list; you’ll save up to 54% and secure a spot 24 hours early.

We’ll be opening up spots in our next Precision Nutrition Coaching on Wednesday, January 9th, 2019.

If you’re interested in coaching and want to find out more, I’d encourage you to join our presale list below. Being on the list gives you two special advantages.

  • You’ll pay less than everyone else. At Precision Nutrition we like to reward the most interested and motivated people because they always make the best clients. Join the presale list and you’ll save up to 54% off the general public price, which is the lowest price we’ve ever offered.

Only a year ago, these 20 women were overweight, out of shape, stressed, and almost out of hope. Now, after 12 months of Precision Nutrition Coaching, they’ve transformed their health, their bodies, and their lives.

They also have the chance to take home part of the $125,000 in prize money we’ve once again committed to our latest round of top clients. Scroll through these amazing photos and vote for the finalist whose transformation inspires you most.

Every year in Precision Nutrition Coaching, we help men and women from around the world dramatically improve their eating habits and lifestyle.

They lose weight, gain strength, and completely transform their bodies, health, fitness, and lives.

We also give them a big, motivating goal to shoot for: $250,000 in cash prizes.

Consider it an antidote to the “you must suffer and feel guilty to get in shape” message you typically get from the fitness industry.

See, women come to us wanting big changes:

  • They want to lose weight and shed body fat.
  • They want to make healthier food choices, consistently.
  • They want to feel at ease, instead of stressed out, when eating.
  • They want to feel confident and comfortable in their own skin.
  • They want to start doing all the awesome things they’ve always wanted to do, but thought they couldn’t.

Above all, they want to become the fittest, strongest, healthiest versions of themselves.

In our experience, big, inspiring, life-changing goals like these are a whole lot easier to achieve when there’s a huge bonus at stake.

So, every six months, we divvy up a big pot of prize money for the best transformations among our male and female clients.

For the current group—which started in January 2018 and is wrapping up now—we’ve committed $125,000.

And right now, we need your help to choose our Women’s Grand Prize winner.

Help choose our Women’s Grand Prize winner (Top prize = $25,000)

The women below started their Precision Nutrition Coaching journey in all shapes and sizes, and they hail from all parts of the globe.

They’re a diverse group with one thing in common: They finally achieved the bodies and health they’ve wanted for a long time, and they’re confident they’ll stay this way for good.

How’d they do it?

No crash diets. No Biggest Loser-type bootcamps. And no full-time chefs.

Just research-based nutrition and lifestyle habits practiced daily with personalized help from our expert coaches.

To vote for the woman you think should win the $25,000 Grand Prize, scroll through the photos below. Make your choice by clicking the “Vote for Finalist” button under the one you think achieved the best transformation.

But please don’t stop there. Once you’ve seen all the finalists and selected your #1 choice, scroll down to the bottom of this post.

At the bottom you’ll need to verify your choice. To do this, click the “Place your vote” button. This will log your vote and help us make our decision.

Rachel and Daniel spent the past 12 months transforming their eating habits, health, bodies, and lives with personal help from a PN coach. And now? They’re our latest Grand Prize winners. See how we surprised them with $25,000 each, and meet the rest of our July 2018 Precision Nutrition Coaching winners.

++

Every six months in our Precision Nutrition Coaching program we give away more than $125,000 to the men and women who have the most incredible, inspiring body transformations.

Yep, that’s more than a quarter million dollars a year.

And, today, you’ll meet our latest amazing winners.

These folks started working with us in July 2017 and, over the course of the past year, completely transformed how they eat, move, look, and feel.

They lost body fat, gained strength, boosted their health, and inspired their friends and families.

Even better, they did it without diets, fads, or crazy workout routines.

Each person simply committed to making a change, stayed consistent, and used the accountability and support of one of our dedicated coaches.

$25,000 Grand Prize Winner: Rachel

Lost 31 lbs and 26 total inches!

Age: 42 years
Weight Lost: 31 lbs (from 148 lbs to 117 lbs)
Total Inches Lost: 26 inches (from 211 inches to 185 inches)

Entering her 40s, Rachel used to wake up feeling puffy, creaky, and old.

She despaired, feeling that at this point, her life would never change.

This is all I can be, Rachel told herself. This is as good as it gets. It is what it is.

She had caring friends, a satisfying job in human resources, and a vocation for acting. But a difficult decade marked by a long and complicated professional project, several painful breakups, and the deaths of her two beloved dogs had left her tired, anxious, increasingly out of shape, and depressed.

It didn’t help that she’d spent almost 20 years in L.A. hearing from casting directors that she was a talented but “unmarketable” actress.

Attractive—but not attractive enough. Over time, the message took a serious toll on Rachel’s confidence.

All those challenges together felt like “death by a thousand cuts”.

In 2017, hoping to jumpstart a healing process, Rachel set out on a solo road trip. Her plan worked. By the time she returned, she felt ready to open her heart to a new rescue dog and begin the long wait for adoption.

Meanwhile, she paid a visit to her brother in Cleveland. He encouraged her to make another kind of commitment.

Matthew, a former attorney who had given up law in favor of a career as a personal trainer, suggested that if Rachel really wanted to get fit, she should check out Precision Nutrition. A client of his had been making excellent progress in the coaching program. He’d looked it up. He liked what he saw.

Rachel struggled with her doubts. Could she afford coaching? Why would this system work for her when others hadn’t? What was the point of trying?

Yet she trusted her brother and knew that he’d never recommend something that didn’t make sense.

Somewhere deep inside, Rachel retained a tiny sliver of hope that life could be more.

The day Rachel met her new dog, Snickers, was the same day she began her year of Precision Nutrition Coaching. It was as if she needed to risk her heart again to open the door to deep change.

For months, she did exactly what the program asked of her. Nothing more. And she barely registered that she was losing weight.

Then one day she pulled on a pair of pleather pants that had always been too small and found, to her amazement, they zipped.

The internal changes struck her sooner and more powerfully. Like the fact that she —a lifelong worrier— was worrying less. Instead of focusing on an unknown future, she was tackling one small task at a time, not only in the gym and in the kitchen, but also when it came to other life challenges.

Gradually, Rachel started to realize that it was OK to ask for help.

She didn’t need to suffer so much to improve. She didn’t need to be perfect. She just needed to show up.

“To be humble. To be honest.” To do the day’s task.

These days, Rachel is basking in her improved health and well-being, and she’s head over heels in love with Snickers. “I gained a corgi and I lost a corgi,” she jokes. (Meaning thirty pounds of body weight or so.)

Even her acting career is on an upswing.  “Turns out there’s more work for older character actresses,” she explains. Or maybe it’s just that her newfound confidence allows her to take more risks.

With her winnings, Rachel plans to take care of some needed upgrades to her condo. But she’s also setting aside a portion for her brother, Matthew.

After all, as the person who encouraged her to sign up, he helped Rachel reclaim her life. Now, he’d like to help his own clients get the kind of results his sister has achieved, so he’s signing up to get his Precision Nutrition’s Certification.

By paying his tuition, Rachel is paying it forward.

$25,000 Grand Prize Winner: Daniel

Lost 10 lbs and 11 total inches!

Age: 39 years
Weight Lost: 10 lbs (from 178 lbs to 168 lbs)
Total Inches Lost: 11 inches (from 229 inches to 218 inches)

Daniel seemed to have it all.

At age 39, Dan was blessed with a terrific job. He was also happily married and living in his dream home with his wife, Erin, their daughter, Sydney, and another baby on the way.

Life should have felt idyllic. Except it didn’t. Something was eroding Dan’s self-respect.

He’d always kept himself relatively trim and fit, most recently through his practice of Filipino martial arts.

But in 2016, he didn’t feel his best. Erratic training had injured his shoulders, and he’d lost a stick-fighting tournament to a rival. Later, he contracted a virus from his preschooler that laid him low for longer than he expected.

By the time June 2017 rolled around, he was actually feeling embarrassed at the thought of pulling on a swimsuit and taking Sydney to the neighborhood pool.

When he looked in a mirror, Dan wasn’t proud of what he saw.

It’s not as if he was vastly overweight. It’s just that he felt out of sync with his values and expectations.

I’m almost forty, he told himself. If I’m serious about making a change, now’s the time.

Turning to Precision Nutrition felt natural. Dan had been following the company since 2005. He’d read John Berardi’s articles. He’d used the cookbook. He knew he could put his trust in this program.

And that’s exactly what he did.

“If anything, I was coming in with too much information about nutrition.”

At the time Dan joined PN, he was lost in a nutrition labyrinth of his own making.

Trying Paleo one week and intermittent fasting the next; switching between workout routines, always restless to find the quick fix but missing the thread of consistency he needed.

PN Coaching worked differently. His progress was slow but steady.

The workouts were not especially challenging at first. Even the nutritional habits felt familiar. But knowing he’d be at this for a year gave Dan space to relax, to play, to experiment without so much pressure.

He emptied his cup of the things he thought he knew about fitness and nutrition, and let his coaches lead the way.

Over time, he felt the principles and habits “burn in” and become a part of him, instead of “showering over him” and then washing away.

The results were subtle, yet profound.

About nine months into the program, Dan once again caught a virus from his young daughter right before an important martial arts tournament. But the body transformation he’d attained by then made him so confident that he attended the tournament anyway. This time, he won.

When the new baby came along, he was worried that sleepless nights and limited time would destroy all the progress he’d made.  But with the encouragement of his coach, he let go of his all-or-nothing thinking and kept up with his habits, lessons, and workouts.

He’d finally learned that it isn’t necessary to do it all. Something is often good enough. And when he compared his progress photos to his beginning photos, he was amazed at the change in his physique.

Evidently, it’s consistently showing up that matters most.

PN’s daily check-ins continue to keep Dan focused and grounded.

Ask Dan what he likes best about PN Coaching, and he’ll tell you “the programming, the lessons, the feedback from coaches, the group discussions, the online delivery format.” In other words, he likes everything.

So much so that he plans to sign up for another year.

“There are a lot of twelve week programs out there,” he says. “I’ve tried a few.  And they might even give you results. Of a superficial kind.”

But if you’re looking for something deeper and more lasting, Dan says, Precision Nutrition Coaching is the way to go.

“What twelve week program will change your life? This program completely changed mine.”

$10,000 Women’s Winner:

Age: 44 years

Weight Lost: 44 lbs (176 lbs to 132 lbs)

Total inches lost: 35″ (230″ to 195″)

The biggest offering that PN presented me with is empowering me to take control of my mind and my body. We all look for external validation to some degree. PN taught me that the best external validation is when you look at your body and it matches your soul and mind. When I felt empowered to take control, I started being more motivated to do the workouts and watch how I nourished my body. The better the nourishment, the more enjoyment, the better the visible result. Loving one self is the hardest adventure. PN was here to show me how to become my own best friend. And what a friend I am!

– Lara

When I came to the PN coaching program, I was an overweight busy mom who wasn’t taking care of herself and wasn’t enjoying life. By changing my eating habits and lifestyle I learned how to let go of the mental clutter, and the physical clutter took care of itself. PN reminded me what joy was, taught me how to play again, brought me to a place of calmness, and helped me nourish myself. I feel fit and fabulous!

PN has taught me about doing the ‘difficult-difficult’ things — ending the going-nowhere relationship; finally making the appointment with the dermatologist to get that spot checked. I learned how to be my own hero… I learned I needed to make better choices, and to listen — REALLY listen — to my body and to my thinking.

– Anne Marie

Age: 59 years

Weight Lost: 40 lbs (238 lbs to 198 lbs)

Total inches lost: 31″ (258″ to 227″)

When I started PN Coaching that it would be this big of a transformation, inside and out. The lessons, the habits, the support of the coaches, the camaraderie with the other women… it was all so powerful. I loved that women of all ages, sizes, and fitness levels could work and support each other through the highs and lows of our individual journeys. I’m slimmer, stronger, healthier, more compassionate, and totally confident that my 60s will be my best decade yet!

A year ago, I was searching for a miracle to become the healthy person I dreamed of being. With Precision Nutrition’s guidance of practicing healthy eating habits; maintaining a proactive fitness program; keeping my mind actively engaged in life; actively pursuing happiness; having faith and being continually kind to myself… I ended up finding the miracle within myself. Ellie

$1,000 Women’s Winner:

Age: 53 years

Weight Lost: 28 lbs (148 lbs to 120 lbs)

Total inches lost: 23″ (213″ to 190″)

I’ve always denied that hitting 50 meant hitting a wall where everything that worked before just… stopped… working. So instead of adjusting my approach, I just ran through it like Braveheart — resulting in the injuries, surgeries, weight gain, and setbacks that come with not thinking this brilliant denial strategy all the way through. My experience with PN over the past year was like a bright, shining light that illuminated the best approach, pointed out the pitfalls to avoid, and walked me through the complex pathway of movement, nutrition, and habits. I can’t imagine anything — a workout, a diet plan, a class — that could possibly be more effective than Precision Nutrition for tackling the weight and fitness challenges I’ve struggled with since turning 50.

– Ellie

Vanessa

$1,000 Women’s Winner:

Age: 44 years

Weight Lost: 28 lbs (149 lbs to 121 lbs)

Total inches lost: 32″ (219″ to 187″)

From a childhood filled with good and bad memories of food — the good being meals with my mom, the bad being the food deprivation after her death — the biggest impact PN Coaching has had on me is the understanding and acceptance that food is not an emergency. I have truly begun to understand the strained and often confusing relationship I’ve had with food all these years, and I am beginning to mend it.

– Vanessa

Tina

$1,000 Women’s Winner:

Age: 45 years

Weight Lost: 59 lbs (254 lbs to 195 lbs)

Total inches lost: 48″ (271″ to 223″)

PN has taught me that, no matter how busy I am, I can still find time for myself. I found ME again this last year, and I will never forget that I am worth it, and I will NEVER GO BACK!

– Tina

Erin

$1,000 Women’s Winner:

Age: 35 years

Weight Lost: 24 lbs (150 lbs to 126 lbs)

Total inches lost: 18″ (218″ to 200″)

My greatest struggle coming into PN was finding time to work out and eat nutritiously, and not feel guilty for spending that time taking care of myself. With the guidance of my coaches, daily lessons, habits, and workshops, one important concept I have developed is that in order to care for my children, husband, and relationships, I need to permit time for self-care.

– Erin

Beth

$1,000 Women’s Winner:

Age: 43 years

Weight Lost: 71 lbs (268 lbs to 197 lbs)

Total inches lost: 44″ (292″ to 248″)

This program has been such a blessing in helping me take control of my weight issues and overall health. I now have habits and tools that I can use on an everyday basis to help me make better choices and become the healthiest version of myself.

– Beth

Lucia

$1,000 Women’s Winner:

Age: 26 years

Weight Lost: 28 lbs (129 lbs to 101 lbs)

Total inches lost: 21″ (205″ to 184″)

The PN program helped me build a strong foundation of self-awareness and self-reliance, which has changed how I treat myself, in all ways, beyond nutrition and fitness. I feel like I’ve put a definite stop to my struggles with weight and dieting… and the results speak for themselves!

– Lucia

Meet our other Men’s winners:

Teofilo

$10,000 Men’s Winner:

Age: 35 years

Weight Lost: 51 lbs (253 lbs to 202 lbs)

Total inches lost: 30″ (273″ to 243″)

Biggest impact this year had on me was to remind me of coaching’s true value. You can’t be an expert on everything if you intend to make the best of your life.

– Teofilo

Steve

$10,000 Men’s Winner:

Age: 55 years

Weight Lost: 51 lbs (224 lbs to 173 lbs)

Total inches lost: 40″ (263″ to 223″)

This last year of Precision nutrition has given me the absolute best results of any plan I have ever tried, and allowed me to obtain a lower weight than stringent long-term dieting was able to produce. Moreover, the PN method has been the easiest of all the approaches I have ever tried. That simple!

– Steve

Jeremy

$2,500 Men’s Winner:

Age: 41 years

Weight Lost: 51 lbs (239 lbs to 188 lbs)

Total inches lost: 33″ (257″ to 224″)

The biggest impact PN has had on me is to truly make a lifestyle change vs complete a ‘fad’ diet or program. The benefits I’ve gained mentally (knowledge, outlook and perspective, mind over matter) outweigh the physical outcome. PN helped me get over some pretty serious mental barriers around the stroke that I suffered a few years ago. I still have a lot of physical transformations that I’m going to continue to work on. For me, the program doesn’t end here, it’s just getting started!

– Jeremy

Gerardo

$2,500 Men’s Winner:

Age: 43 years

Weight Lost: 32 lbs (209 lbs to 177 lbs)

Total inches lost: 16″ (238 ” to 222″)

I like a quote that I saw in a commercial: “Train your mind, your body will follow”. To me that was my experience. Change the ‘little things’ (habits) and you’ll see changes in your body. Always mindful and aware, and of course consistent.

– Gerardo

Alex

$2,500 Men’s Winner:

Age: 52 years

Weight Lost: 16 lbs (189 lbs to 173 lbs)

Total inches lost: 10″ (236″ to 226″)

In the beginning of the year I was overweight, always tired, busy, cranky, and I thought I was stuck at my weight. With PN Coaching, I have changed my eating and lifestyle habits and as a result I feel free, more confident, less stressed, and full of energy. The coaching exceeded my expectations and when people ask me how I’ve changed, I can’t help but tell them about all the things that I’ve learned from PN.

– Alex

Cody

$2,500 Men’s Winner:

Age: 28 years

Weight Lost: 20 lbs (195 lbs to 175 lbs)

Total inches lost: 9″ (233″ to 224″)

I came into my year of PN Coaching with a fairly strong background in nutrition and exercise. Despite this, I was never able to take my own body to the place I wanted it. It’s not that I couldn’t do it on my own, but rather that I wouldn’t do it on my own. My PN coach, Jonathan, helped hold me accountable and continually reminded me to focus on the ‘big rocks’ and not worry so much about the small stuff.

– Cody

Todd

$1,000 Men’s Winner:

Age: 45 years

Weight Lost: 36 lbs (183 lbs to 147 lbs)

Total inches lost: 27″ (224″ to 197″)

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I signed up for PN coaching because I thought I had the knowledge to make the changes I needed to make on my own. I discovered that I might have the knowledge, but not the tools that I needed to really improve. PN Coaching gave me the tools, confidence, and support that I needed to really change my physical and mental health. The best part about PN Coaching is all you need to do is follow the program, trust in the program, and you will see significant results.

– Todd

Brandon

$1,000 Men’s Winner:

Age: 33 years

Weight Lost: 22 lbs (159 lbs to 137 lbs)

Total inches lost: 19″ (220″ to 201″)

PN has been a great experience for me. In the past I’d always enjoyed an active lifestyle, but I had gotten to a point where my lack of fitness and poor nutritional choices were really hurting my ability to do the things I love. Generally speaking I just didn’t feel good about where I was at. Just days before the program started I separated my shoulder and underwent surgery, further limiting me. PN was the best thing for me during recovery. It taught me you don’t have to have some crazy “all or nothing” fitness program or diet. Small, consistent changes can bring about great results! It’s completely changed the way I think about food, fitness, and nutrition. Thanks!!

– Brandon

Luis

$1,000 Men’s Winner:

Age: 46 years

Weight Lost: 27 lbs (182 lbs to 155 lbs)

Total inches lost: 19″ (241″ to 222″)

When I started PN Coaching, I knew it would be a customized nutrition and fitness program. Now I see that it’s not just that — it’s a complete lifestyle program. It’s not a diet at all. It’s a system based on habit change. You learn lifelong nutrition habits that will last and keep you healthy. And if you ever get stuck on your path, you always have someone you can ask for help.

– Luis

Domenic

$1,000 Men’s Winner:

Age: 32 years

Weight Lost: 31 lbs (284 lbs to 253 lbs)

Total inches lost: 22″ (279″ to 257″)

This past year in PN has probably added 20-30 years to my life, and those years will be much better quality due to the increase in my health, my energy, and my ability to cope better with the stress and trials in life. I feel like the foundation that has been set by PN will help me to finish every race in life strong, get over life’s biggest hurdles, stay focused on truly meaningful objectives in life, and most of all, I can now run and play with my children and watch them grow. Unlike the other men in my family who all died young due to poor health before seeing any of their grandchildren, I look forward to living long enough to see my grandchildren be born and grow up.

– Domenic

Bob

$1,000 Men’s Winner:

Age: 59 years

Weight Lost: 38 lbs (195 lbs to 157 lbs)

Total inches lost: 28″ (241″ to 213″)

I hit a wall on my nutrition and fitness journey to lose over 100 lbs. PN gave the tools and support I needed to not just get past that wall but to crush it! Never looking back! I had been fat for so long, it was the only way I could see myself. In less than a year, the caring coaching, consistent structure, and solid information of PN has helped me transform my self-image to seeing myself as lean and fit.

– Bob

Kevin

$1,000 Men’s Winner:

Age: 38 years

Weight Lost: 52 lbs (224 lbs to 172 lbs)

Total inches lost: 31″ (249″ to 218″)

The past year has been like many of the years before it: a roller-coaster of weight, distraction, disappointment, elation, advancement and setback. I knew that PN wasn’t going to change the world around me and somehow create a magical petri dish of perfection for me to live in. What it did give me is what I was missing in all those previous years: control, understanding, acceptance, forgiveness and resiliency – that has made all the difference.

– Kevin

Weight Gained: 25 lbs (203 lbs to 228 lbs)

Total inches gained: 11″ (237″ to 248″)

Matt

$1,000 Men’s Winner:

Age: 35 years

Weight Lost: 44 lbs (261 lbs to 217 lbs)

Total inches lost: 31″ (270″ to 239″)

I began Precision Nutrition feeling overwhelmed and trapped in my body: overcome with the chronic pain in my disc herniations and subluxed ribs, fearful of reinjuring them, and doubtful that I could regain my old athleticism and physique in that condition. Little by little, Precision Nutrition nurtured a new lifestyle where I’ve found the resilience to heal my body and return to the martial arts I love. Best of all, armed with the tools and behaviors I’ve learned, I feel confident that I will prevail over any injuries or challenges that the future has in store.

Here are a few more examples:

See what happens with 365 days of Precision Nutrition Coaching.

Could you be the next winner?

Many of our most successful clients have tried a lot of “diets”, “workouts”, “pills”, and other things before coming to us. Heck, some are even “serial dieters” (i.e. they’ve tried everything there is to try).

Why are they so successful with us?

It’s because we do things a little differently here at Precision Nutrition.

These two “success secrets” set us apart.

Secret #1:
We help change your habits. One at a time.

Instead of giving you a diet or a set of meal plans (which we all know don’t work over the long term), we work with you to create a series of sustainable habits.

One strategic habit after another, you build up the physical and mental skills required to make better eating choices, move better, and develop a healthy relationship with food.

This won’t be an “on it” or “off it” thing. We do health and fitness in a way that fits your life. So once you have the skills, they’re yours forever. You can choose to apply them whenever you like, however you like.

Secret #2:
We’ve got your back.

You won’t be alone. You’ll have a committed group of coaches, mentors, and peers working with you, looking out for you, encouraging you along the way.

The whole “Lone Ranger” thing — you know, “I can figure this out myself” — rarely works. Sure, it can work. But that’s unusual.

Even if you do manage to go it alone, it takes too long and you end up making so many unnecessary mistakes along the way.

On the other hand, caring, patient, empathetic coaching from world-class experts can make things easier than you ever thought possible.

Plus, your results tend to skyrocket when you pursue a goal along with a group of peers. You figure things out faster, make fewer mistakes, and are pushed to succeed by those around you.

It’s a formula for success, especially in fitness and nutrition.

And that’s what Precision Nutrition Coaching offers you.

Want to know more about how all this works? Check out what Jodie had to say:

Meet Jodie, one of our $25,000 winners.

But why give away money?

With all that terrific support and structure, you might wonder why we bother offering cash prizes.

A little while ago, I presented a seminar to a group of personal trainers enrolled in our Precision Nutrition Certification course. (They all work for one of the world’s most successful gym chains.)

In my talk, I shared 12 research-proven factors they must understand to help their clients get amazing results.

Here’s the most important one:

To get in the best shape of your life, you need a big incentive to get started. And there’s nothing wrong with that.

Honestly, how often are people provided with a compelling, positive incentive to change the way they eat and exercise?

Uh, almost never.

And that’s the problem.

From what I can tell, most people just get lectured all the time about how they look, or about how they’ll be stricken by all kinds of terrible diseases and die if they don’t start to eat better.

Or they’re confronted with unrealistic, Photoshopped-and-starved images of “fitness perfection”.

Or someone blames them for “making excuses”.

Shame, hysterical negativity, and unrealistic expectations don’t motivate most people, regardless of the goal. That approach is condescending, annoying, and overwhelming.

That’s why we need something positive to help motivate us to make big changes.

Forget all the bad stuff. What happens when you have something hugely positive to shoot for?

Our approach to motivation: Cash prizes!

In our experience, big, inspiring goals are much easier to achieve when something big is at stake.

That’s why we put up real cash prizes for our clients and give away more than $250,000 — a quarter of a million dollars — every year.

Yes, internal (or intrinsic) motivation — the deep sense of “why” that helps people persist when things get tough — is important.

But intrinsic motivation takes time to develop and is only strengthened through regular practice (and great coaching). Which is why we kick-start the whole process with an external motivator; in this case something big, like a cash prize.

The best part: You win no matter what.

Precision Nutrition Coaching makes the process of losing weight, gaining strength, and getting healthy easier and more doable than ever before — no matter what else is going on in your life right now.

The good news is that we guarantee it…

1. If it doesn’t work, it’s free.

If you stick with Precision Nutrition Coaching for a year and aren’t happy with the results, we’ll give your money back. All of it. Every penny. You get to decide if the program was worth it.

Why do we do this? Because we stand behind our work. And we’re very confident you’ll end up leaner, stronger, healthier, and happier with your body than you ever thought you could be.

2. If you work hard and do a good job, you get in the best shape of your life.

Follow the program, and you will get the body you’re after, plain and simple. That’s what people are looking for — something that truly works. And that’s what we deliver. You walk out healthier and happier than ever before.

3. And if you do a great job, you get in the best shape of your life and you can win serious money.

Bonus: If you really kick butt here, you might even win a bunch of cash at the end too.

And here’s Spencer, another Precision Nutrition Coaching prize winner:

What would you do with the money?

Previous winners have used their prize money to do things like…

  • take vacations, like traveling to places they’ve always wanted to go, or visiting family they rarely see,
  • pay off credit card debt or medical bills,
  • remodel their homes, or build in-home gyms,
  • invest in their education, certifications, or businesses,
  • help friends and family invest in their own health, in some cases paying for family members to sign up for Precision Nutrition Coaching,
  • start retirement funds, and
  • go on adventures like hiking trips or bucket-list excursions.

What would you do with the money?

Is it time to become the healthiest, fittest, strongest version of yourself?

Precision Nutrition Coaching includes:

  • 12 months of coaching for anyone who wants to be lean, fit, and healthy,
  • world-class instructors including some of the best coaches in the world,
  • daily coaching, support, and accountability to keep you on track,
  • detailed nutrition instruction to get you eating in a healthier way,
  • exercise recommendations for time-efficient fitness progress, and
  • private support with guaranteed responses from coaches and mentors.

So, if you’re:

  • interested in looking and feeling better,
  • looking for help and support from an expert coach, and
  • eager to make better eating and exercise decisions…

Precision Nutrition Coaching is definitely for you.

There’s only one catch…

Only folks who act quickly get a spot.

We’ve always had more people interested in Precision Nutrition Coaching than we’ve had space available to coach them.

In fact, our last coaching group sold out in just a few hours.

So we have an issue: How to decide who gets in.

My solution? Reward the most eager, motivated people because, in my experience, they make the best clients.

That’s why we created the presale list.

Enter the presale list.

If you want to get in the best shape of your life and take a shot at the $250,000 in prize money, I strongly recommend you put your name on the presale list.

Again, we can only work with a limited number of clients. And spots sell out every time we open them up.

So adding your name to this list gives you a huge advantage.

First of all, you get the chance to sign up 24 hours before everyone else.

Even better, you’ll receive a big discount at registration.

So put your name on the list below. Because, as always, spots are first come, first served, and when they’re gone, they’re gone.

Interested in Precision Nutrition Coaching? Join the presale list; you’ll save up to 54% and secure a spot 24 hours early.

We’ll be opening up spots in our next Precision Nutrition Coaching on Wednesday, July 18th, 2018.

  • You’re more likely to get a spot. To give clients the personal care and attention they deserve, we only open up the program twice a year. Last time we opened registration, we sold out within minutes. By joining the presale list you’ll get the opportunity to register 24 hours before everyone else, increasing your chances of getting in.

If you’re ready to change your body, and your life, with help from the world’s best coaches, this is your chance.

A year ago, these 25 guys were stressed, out of shape, and tired of wanting a body they couldn’t achieve. Now, after 12 months of Precision Nutrition Coaching, they’ve transformed their health, their bodies, and their lives.

They also have the chance to take home part of the $126,000 in prize money we’ve committed to this round’s top clients. Scroll through these amazing photos and vote for the finalist whose transformation impresses you most.

Every year in Precision Nutrition Coaching, we help men and women from around the world dramatically improve their eating habits and lifestyle.

They lose weight, gain strength, and completely transform their bodies, health, and fitness. We also give them a big, motivating goal to shoot for: more than $250,000 in cash prizes.

Consider it an antidote to the “you must suffer and feel guilty to get in shape” message you typically get from the fitness industry.

See, guys come to us wanting big changes:

  • They want to lose weight, build muscle, and shed body fat.
  • They want to feel physically and mentally strong.
  • They want to make healthier food choices, consistently.
  • They want to stop worrying about their health.
  • They want to start doing all the awesome things they previously wanted to but thought they couldn’t.

For the current group—which started in July 2017 and is wrapping up now—we’ve committed $126,000.

And right now, we need your help to choose our Men’s Grand Prize winner.

Help choose our Men’s Grand Prize winner (Top prize = $25,000)

The guys below started their Precision Nutrition Coaching journey in all shapes and sizes, and they hail from all over the world. They’re a diverse group with one thing in common: They finally have the bodies and health they’ve wanted for a long time, and they’re confident they’ll stay this way for good.

How’d they do it?

No crash diets. No Biggest Loser-type bootcamps. And no full-time chefs.

Just research-based nutrition and lifestyle habits practiced daily with personalized help from our expert coaches.

That’s why we work closely with Precision Nutrition Coaching clients to help them lose fat, get stronger, and improve their health… no matter what challenges they’re dealing with.

We’ll be opening up spots in our next Precision Nutrition Coaching on Wednesday, July 18th, 2018.

Confirm your choice for the Women’s $25,000 Grand Prize winner

Want to transform your body like these women did?

It’s also why we work with health, fitness, and wellness professionals (through our Level 1 and Level 2 Certification programs) to teach them how to coach their own clients through the same challenges.

Need help eating better, improving your health, and getting the body you want? If so, you’re in the right place. Twice a year we open our coaching program to men and women who want to look and feel their best. We help them get into the best shape of their lives… and stay that way for good.

If you’re wondering what Precision Nutrition Coaching can do for you, take a peek at some of the amazing things we’ve helped clients accomplish:

Meet some of the people whose bodies — and lives — have been changed by Precision Nutrition Coaching.

Ready to become your fittest, strongest, healthiest self? The time is now.

On Wednesday, July 18th, 2018 we’re opening registration for the next Precision Nutrition Coaching program for men and women.

As a coaching client, you’ll get a personal coach from our world-class coaching team and, with their support, you’ll learn how to:

  • Eat better, without dieting or feeling deprived.
  • Get active, no matter what shape you’re in now.
  • Ditch the food rules, dropping the fad diets and conflicting advice.
  • Build fitness into your life, without it taking over.
  • Achieve, and maintain, your goals, even when life gets busy.

The result? You’ll:

  • Lose the weight/fat you haven’t been able to shed for years.
  • Build physical strength and confidence in your body.
  • Gain mental confidence, no longer hiding your gifts and talents.
  • Let go of food confusion, learn what to do, how to do it.
  • Get off the diet roller coaster once and for all, and never look back.

Seriously, imagine a life where you…

…feel physically and mentally strong, capable of taking on any challenge without worrying that your energy levels or body weight will get in the way.

…can run around with your kids, or grandkids, without feeling pain, winded, or tired; and you can do it again the next day.

…excitedly book a beach vacation without wondering how you’ll look (or feel) in a swimsuit, walking along the beach.

…look forward to having your picture taken without wondering “who’s that person, and when did they start looking like that?”

…feel like food is your friend, not your enemy, and never diet again.

And here’s some really exciting news.

We’ll be offering the program at the lowest price ever ($97 USD per month), and giving away over $250,000 USD in prize money to our clients who experience the biggest physical (and lifestyle) changes.

Will Precision Nutrition work for you?

Over the last 15 years, we’ve proven the Precision Nutrition Coaching method with nearly 100,000 clients. Plus, several peer-reviewed research papers have documented the safety and effectiveness of our approach.

Unlike other programs, we don’t prescribe diets or meal plans. Instead, we help you build the skills and habits necessary to look and feel better — for life.

Just take a look at a few of our clients.

Like Sue, a businesswoman from the UK. She lost 61 pounds with Precision Nutrition Coaching, gaining the energy and confidence — not to mention jean size — of a much younger person.

Or Carm, an artist and designer from Canada. Through Precision Nutrition Coaching he became the ‘fit guy’ he never thought he could be. Now he takes his teenage boys hiking and camping and they struggle to keep up.

Or Simone. With help from Precision Nutrition Coaching she got off the diet roller coaster and discovered a whole new freedom in her life. Now she focuses her energy on positive things vs. worrying about her weight.

This short video details what you can expect from Precision Nutrition for Men.

And this one details what you can expect from Precision Nutrition for Women.

Learn exactly how Precision Nutrition Coaching for Women works.

We do health and fitness in a way that fits your life. (Instead of the other way around).

We know: Life can get crazy.

Work, children, aging parents, running a household, and all the surprises life can throw at us. It never stops being complicated or busy.

That’s why we do something very different.

We show you how to make health and fitness a part of your life, no matter what else is going on.

At Precision Nutrition we often say that your program should be designed for your absolute worst days — not just your best days.

You know the days I’m talking about… you’re low energy, nothing goes your way, your partner (or children) aren’t pleased when you get home, and you have a million other things to do than spend 2 hours working out and cooking organic meals.

Normal fitness plans tell you to just tough it out.

You’ve gotta want it badly enough.

If you’re aren’t willing to put in the work, you don’t deserve the results.

That’s just silly, and it’s not reality. Which is why we work closely with our clients to help them eat well and exercise no matter what’s going on in their lives.

We’ll bring the accountability it takes for you to stay consistent. We’ll review your progress, answer questions, and make recommendations to help you improve. We’ll tap you on the shoulder if you start to regress. And we’ll help you get past each hurdle along the way.

The result? You’ll get into the best shape of your life within 12 months.

And you’ll have the habits, skills, and tools to stay that way for life.

This approach has worked for thousands of clients, like Lorena, who learned that she could actually get better results with less effort.

And Sean Patrick, who learned how to get past overwhelm by taking small steps everyday.

This “real life” approach is one of the main reasons our clients achieve — and sustain — jaw-dropping transformations.

What kind of awesome transformation could you get with Precision Nutrition coaching? Check out this short video to get an idea:

See what 365 days of Precision Nutrition Coaching can do.

Now, there is a catch.

If Precision Nutrition Coaching is right for you, it can be life-changing. But because of high demand, the program usually sells out within hours.

So, if you’re interested in registering — or even if you’re just interested in learning more — your best bet is to put yourself on our free presale list.

Once you add your name, we’ll send you more info. Plus, being on the list gives you the chance to register 24 hours before the general public.

Excited about what’s possible?

Here’s a little more inspiration from some previous clients.

And that’s just a small sampling of the thousands of men and women who’ve had success with Precision Nutrition Coaching.

Oh, I should also mention this…

We’re giving away over $250,000 in prize money this year!

That’s right, every year we give away big prize money to the men and women who achieve the biggest transformations in our program.

Like these folks:

_MG_8816

Lindsey lost 45 pounds in PN Coaching; we surprised her with $25,000.
IMG_7693

Tim lost 100 pounds in PN Coaching; we surprised him with $25,000.

Consider this our antidote to the “you must suffer and feel guilty to get in shape” messages typically spewed out by the fitness industry.

We don’t need any more negativity in our lives, and we’re sure you don’t either. So, instead, we give you something cool and inspiring to shoot for.

Who knows, you might end up winning one of our grand prizes, like Spencer:

Watch as we surprise recent grand prize winner Spencer.

Or Lisa:

Watch as we surprise recent grand prize winner Lisa.

If you’re looking for help, why not work with the best in the business?

Just so you know, in addition to Precision Nutrition Coaching, we also provide nutrition advice to the most elite athletes and professionals in the world.

Companies like Nike, Apple, and Equinox; professional sports teams like the San Antonio Spurs and the Carolina Panthers; and dozens of Olympic athletes and their coaches call on us when they want next-level nutrition and performance strategies.

Precision Nutrition has been featured in dozens of media outlets…

…and has consulted with some of the world’s most innovative companies and teams.

Precision Nutrition Coaching is so uniquely successful that Fast Company recently named us one of the most innovative companies in fitness.

Image 10

Precision Nutrition was named one of the 10 most innovative companies in fitness by Fast Company magazine.

Plus, as I’ve mentioned, the Precision Nutrition method has been tried and tested with nearly 100,000 clients. And several peer-reviewed research papers have documented its safety and effectiveness.

In the end, we know what works. We have a proven system in place. And we consistently produce life-changing results for our clients, year in and year out.

Lots of people consider us the world’s leading experts in nutrition coaching. It’s a big responsibility, and we don’t take it lightly. Which is why we do everything possible to help you succeed.

This is your chance. Don’t miss out.

To give everyone the personal care and attention they deserve, we only open our doors and accept new clients twice a year. Because of that, our programs have historically sold out in a matter of hours.

However, if you put your name on our free presale list, we’ll send you more information about the program.

Even better, you’ll get the chance to register 24 hours before everyone else, increasing your chances of getting a spot.

Plus, you’ll save up to 54% off the regular cost of the program.

Indeed, if you’re on our presale list, you’ll be able to get access to Precision Nutrition Coaching for just $97 USD per month, our lowest price ever.

I’ve been coaching for 25+ years now, and I can genuinely say this is the most affordable I’ve ever seen this caliber of coaching.

Plus, we guarantee our work. Because it’s the right thing to do.

Bring your commitment. Stick with us for a full year. Work hard.

You’ll lose the weight (and body fat) you haven’t been able to shed for years.

You’ll build physical strength and confidence. You’ll get results that last.

And if you don’t get the results you’re looking for, we’ll give you a full refund.

No risk. No joke.

Interested in Precision Nutrition Coaching? Join the presale list; you’ll save up to 54% and secure a spot 24 hours early.

Struggling to make important changes to your health? Your lifestyle? The way you look and feel? (Or, if you’re a coach, perhaps you’re struggling to help others make these changes.) All the folks you’ll read about today faced those challenges too. Then, with expert coaching, they turned things around, changing their bodies, and their lives. Here are 28 lessons we can all learn from what they’ve accomplished.

++

They were tired of getting winded on the stairs and lagging behind their kids (or grandkids) at the park. Frightened by what their doctors were telling them. Worried about meds. Sick of wanting to see something different in the mirror.

These men and women tried a lot of different ways to get healthy and improve their fitness, and many started to believe it would never happen.

Maybe you can relate to these folks, or are a coach to clients or patients who have faced similar moments of hopelessness.

So here’s some uplifting news: Coming to us after years of struggle, these Precision Nutrition Coaching clients achieved some of the most incredible body transformations we’ve ever seen.

So we asked them: How’d you do it?

Below, the 28 lessons they shared — lessons we can all use if we want to exercise smarter, eat better, get control of our stress, prioritize our sleep, and generally take care of our health and fitness.

++++

1. All we get is one body and one life.

Lisa had everything that was supposed to make up a great life: A lovely home, a loving husband, and two beautiful kids.

But she was overweight, overly-stressed, and using muscle relaxants everyday to deal with physical pain. She was hurting, and unhappy.

At 39, she realized that she would never get a “second chance” at the life she really wanted. She found the urgency to finally prioritize her own self-care.

Now, 50 pounds lighter, “me first” is a way of life. Because when she’s healthy, energetic, and optimistic, everyone around her benefits too.

According to Lisa, she’s now the “happiest woman in the world”.

Lisa’s Transformation

Lost 54.1 lbs and 48.7 total inches!

Age: 40 years
Weight Lost: 54.1 lbs (from 222.5 lbs to 168.4 lbs)
Total Inches Lost: 48.7 inches (from 256 inches to 207.3 inches)

2. Following orders doesn’t work; taking ownership does.

Spencer, 52, was no stranger to the gym. But even though he’d had a trainer and worked out a few times a week, he wasn’t getting results.

“Physically, I was a mess,” he says. “I was frustrated with my jean size and hated dressing up. I looked like crap. I’d have beers and drown myself on the weekends to try and forget it.”

Through Precision Nutrition Coaching, Spencer finally lost weight — 56 pounds, to be exact.

What finally tipped the scales?

“I’m used to a coach telling you what to do, telling you what to eat,”  Spencer says. “Zach [my PN coach] didn’t do any of that.”

With Zach’s guidance, it was up to Spencer to take personal ownership of his decisions about food, alcohol, and workouts.

“Zach kept checking in with me every week, and kept me focused.”

Ultimately, making his own decisions about what to eat — and learning a whole lot through the process— is what paved the way for Spencer’s real change.

Spencer’s Transformation

Lost 56.3 lbs and 32.5 total inches!

Age: 52 years
Weight Lost: 56.3 lbs (from 246 lbs to 189.7 lbs)
Total Inches Lost: 32.5 inches (from 266.5 inches to 234 inches)

3. Perfection isn’t required to get started.

At 48, Alicia was working, singing at her church, parenting three kids, and juggling other complicated family responsibilities.

She was overstressed and overeating, and she just wanted “off the diet-mobile.” she says.

No matter what she tried, the weight loss never lasted. What was the use?

But when a friend who she respects lost 44 pounds with Precision Nutrition Coaching, Alicia decided it was worth a try.

Nothing was perfect — from the start of the program she was injured, and she didn’t have the money for a trainer or a gym membership — but Alicia just kept her successful friend in mind and trusted the coaching process.

It took six months for Alicia to realize that not only was she making progress, but she might be in the running for our $25,000 grand prize!

At the end of her coaching experience, Alicia ended up becoming one of our grand prize winners, completely transforming her body without needing everything to be “just right” when she started.

Alicia’s Transformation

Lost 49 lbs and 46 total inches!

Age: 48 years
Weight Lost: 49 lbs (from 181 lbs to 132 lbs)
Total Inches Lost: 46 inches (from 219 inches to 173 inches)

4. Motivation and confidence are fickle; keep going anyway.

Javier, 42, had reached the point where the pain of being out of shape and overweight was greater than the pain of making a change.

The stairs made him winded, his knees ached, and he knew he wasn’t living the life he was meant to live.

So Javier joined Precision Nutrition Coaching and got to work — week after week, month after month. But while he knew he was doing his very best at making lifestyle changes, his own self-doubt still held him back.

He felt better, but he couldn’t fully recognize his transformation. In fact, only a few weeks before the program ended, Javier threatened to quit.

Thankfully, Javier heeded his coach and kept going — and when he saw his final photos compared with the first ones he’d submitted at the beginning of the program, he couldn’t believe his eyes.

He’d lost 60 pounds in a year, and won PN’s $25,000 grand prize.

Javier’s Transformation

Lost 60 lbs and 32 total inches!

Age: 42 years
Weight Lost: 60 lbs (from 245 lbs to 185 lbs)
Total Inches Lost: 32 inches (from 269 inches to 237 inches)

5. Feeling anxious is normal; slowing down is what’s required.

When you want to make big, lasting changes to your eating, your workout routine, and your health, patience is a virtue.

Mark, 51, a successful consultant, started out anxious and impatient to make changes happen, fast. Like most clients do.

He wanted to do everything: Long gym sessions, restrictive eating, you name it. But how could that possibly work with his frequent business trips and family life? (Hint: Not well).

Thankfully, coaching helped him slow down. And, as he focussed on internalizing the daily lessons he was going through, as he became mentally and physically open to change, he lost 42 pounds.

“Be patient. Just show up every day and focus on making small changes consistently,” he says. “That’s what leads to profound change.”

Mark’s Transformation

Lost 42 lbs and 32 total inches!

Age: 51 years
Weight Lost: 42 lbs (from 192 lbs to 150 lbs)
Total Inches Lost: 32 inches (from 237 inches to 205 inches)

6. Treat yourself like you’d treat a close friend.

Michelle, 44, was teaching at a new school in New Orleans when Hurricane Katrina devastated the city. In the years that followed, she took on the responsibility of helping her vulnerable teenage students grow and learn after they’d suffered that trauma.

Like many in her situation, Michelle forgot how to care for herself. She ended up overweight, tired, stressed…a mess that made it tough to drag herself to the gym.

But after some encouragement from her husband, she started working with us and relearned how to prioritize herself, losing 35 pounds along the way.

Michelle’s advice: Treat yourself with the patience and kindness that you’d give to a close friend. First, because it will help you sustain your purpose in life. And second, because you deserve it.

Michelle’s Transformation

Lost 35 lbs and 30 total inches!

Age: 44 years
Weight Lost: 35 lbs (from 158 lbs to 123 lbs)
Total Inches Lost: 30 inches (from 221 inches to 191 inches)

7. Lifestyle personalization + support for the win.

Most people know this by now: There’s no such thing as one-size-fits-all when it comes to nutrition and fitness.

For folks like Jean-Charles, understanding what makes him — and his lifestyle — unique was absolutely crucial to his success.

“Jay-C” was dealing with some challenges: Long work hours, including night shifts; a hip injury; and a demanding job in rural New Brunswick that requires him to spend a lot of time sitting in a vehicle.

Thankfully, Jay-C’s coach talked to him regularly via Skype, sent weekly videos, and set up a special Facebook group with fellow clients — taking the time to get to know Jay-C well and keep him connected to a support team, even from his remote location.

In the end, that sort of lifestyle personalization and genuine support added up to 55 pounds lost and an impressive amount of muscle added (not to mention enough prize money to put a downpayment on a house).

8. Sitting on the fence is a mistake.

“If it’s your time, and you’re sitting on the fence — you want to do it, you’re thinking of doing it, you’re not sure if you should do it — jump off that fence,” says Patrick, 35, who lost 152 pounds with Precision Nutrition. “And give it everything you’ve got. Why sit on the fence when you can be a part of life?”

Patrick realized he’d been sitting around waiting for the perfect time to make life changes, when all he really needed to do was take one small step forward… right now.

9. Your body can still do stuff; celebrate that.

“Enjoy your body,” says 46-year-old Sharon, who lost more than 30 pounds with Precision Nutrition Coaching.

“Take pleasure in movement. Take pride in what you can do.”

This deep appreciation for physical health is what allows many clients to maintain fitness regimens and weight loss over time.

After fighting breast cancer, Sharon says, “My biggest regret about my earlier life is that I didn’t have the opportunity or understand what a precious gift my physicality was.”

You have permission to let go of the “sculpt your butt in 3 days” mainstream narrative. Just discover what your body can do. Enjoy it.

10. What will it be like to live as your future self?

We all have a specific motivation for wanting to lose fat and get fit. Keep that in mind. Whether it’s getting strong enough to play sports with your kids or looking great on your wedding day.

That last one is what helped 32-year-old Melissa lose 55 pounds.

“The whole time, I had this image of myself on my wedding day in my head,” Melissa says. “Walking tall, feeling amazing — feeling statuesque instead of soft around the edges.”

Don’t just think about how you want to look; think about how you want to feel. “It’s not just about what you see in the mirror, it’s what you feel inside,” says Melissa.

How do you want to feel? Confident? Capable of handling anything that life throws at you? Free to try new things? Comfortable in your own skin?

Imagine what it will be like to live as your future self. How does that guy or girl look, how do they feel, and what do they do? How could you start living a little more like that person today?

11. Slow down and enjoy your food, all of it.

Most Precision Nutrition clients come to realize that they’ve been eating mindlessly — packing in calories without really tasting the food — for a long time.

“There’s nothing inherently wrong with dessert,” explains Yano, 35, who lost 76 pounds with Precision Nutrition.

He still enjoys dessert occasionally, of course, and finds that having it only once in a while is the key to really appreciating it.

What happens when we really take the time to enjoy our food? We usually slow down. We become more conscious of our choices, and we choose better foods for our bodies.

12. Your environment shapes you, so choose yours wisely.

When clients recognize how their surroundings might be creating unhealthy habits they usually have an “ah-ha” moment. They start seeing the relationship between what’s around them and who they think they are. This helps them change their self stories and start seeing real results.

When coaching with us, 29-year-old Sarah realized that years of work in fast food restaurants made more of an impact on her life than she cared to admit.

Something shifted for her when she asked herself: “What do I really care about? What gives me joy? How can I get more of that?”

Together with her partner, Sarah started to change where they spent their time, and who they spent it with. They started trying more things.

“We did yoga, treetop trekking, rock climbing, Olympic weightlifting.  Instead of going for drinks and dinner, we started getting more creative with how we spent our time. Our social life started to change.”

What could you remove from your environment or add to your environment to create a healthier life for yourself?

% Body Fat Lost: 14.2% (from 26.3% to 12.1%)
Total Inches Lost: 50 inches (from 239 inches to 189 inches)

13. You are the average of the people you spend the most time with.

“It turns out that a lot of people have health and weight issues, just like I used to have,” Yano says. “And often they don’t want to eat poorly; they just do it because everyone else — friends, family, the people around them — is doing it. That was my problem for a long time.”

When you make a decision about what to eat, it’s worth asking, “what do I need?” instead of “what do they want?” This helped Yano (above) lose 76 pounds.

14. Dive below the surface; that’s where real change happens.

We can skim the top of our diet issues and see some small, fleeting changes on the scale. Or we can really dig into our relationship with food, what motivates it, and how to make it better.

For Sarah (above), letting herself get vulnerable as she went through Precision Nutrition Coaching turned into her greatest strength, opening her up to the process of self-questioning.

“How have trying times brought me to where I am now, and how have I coped?” “What do I really care about? What gives me joy? How can I get more of that?” This helped her lose 52 pounds.

15. Stay connected to all the things you love about yourself.

“Just remember, you deserve all of the amazing insights, strength gains, friendships, learning — whatever you take from this program— as you find and discover a new and best version of yourself,” Sarah (above) says.

“You are worthy.”

It’s so easy to get hung up on all the things you want to change. But all that negativity, without something positive, will drag you down.

So make time to celebrate yourself — both the things you’re already awesome at, and the successes (even small ones) you’re achieving along the way.

16. It doesn’t matter how much you “know”.

“It’s about realizing that no matter how smart I am and how much I know about exercise, if I’m not living it, I don’t really know it,” says Kevin, 40, who lost 37 pounds with Precision Nutrition Coaching.

In fact, you might find value in thinking of yourself as a beginner.

To your family and friends, you might be the go-to person for questions of health and fitness. But if you can find a way to wipe that slate clean and make way for new insights and advice — or even just for hearing them with fresh ears — then you’re much more likely to succeed.

17. Find someone to hold you accountable.

“The truth is, I probably knew three quarters of Precision Nutrition’s dietary recommendations before I started,” says Peter, 52, who dropped 33 pounds.

“But the secret to losing weight and maintaining a healthy weight is consistency,” he says. Get someone to breathe down your neck, and you’ll make healthy choices your habit.

In other words, it’s not about knowing, it’s about doing.

Our clients’ lightbulb moment: Relinquishing control to coaches, who offer the practical lifestyle advice, daily habits, and — this is key — accountability that’s needed to create real change.

If you already know what to do but you’re not doing it, get yourself some accountability.

18. There’s no such thing as “too busy”.

Some of our most successful clients are the ones with the least amount of time.

Take Lisanne, who lost 38 pounds on the Precision Nutrition program while taking care of three small children — including a nursing infant — and getting certified as a yoga instructor and doula.

Lisanne says, “at first I wondered if this was a crazy time to start. But then I thought — why not?”

“What better time, when you think about it?”

Other clients work multiple jobs or have to travel five days a week and never know where they’ll be staying next.

They tell us that structure is the secret to making it happen. And working with someone to find their “minimum effective dose” of exercise and nutrition.

19. Most people can’t do everything; so focus on what you can do right now.

Forget what you can’t do.

Figure out what you’re capable of in this moment, and build from there.

“I had to find it within me to accept that it was okay to do things a bit differently, says Richard, 49, who dropped 103 pounds in our yearlong program.

He had to learn that it’s okay to focus on, and try to tackle, only what he was capable of. And to forget the rest, even if he thought he should be doing it.

Eventually, Precision Nutrition clients internalize this mantra: Start wherever you are. Use whatever you have.  Do whatever you can.

20. Imagine yourself as a role model, then go be that person.

“I want my kids to be healthy and happy and proud of the way they’re living their lives,” Lisanne (above) says. “It’s not enough for me to pay lip service to that idea — I have to be an example.”

Consider: What does “role model you” do each day? What does their morning routine look like? How do they keep the family fit and healthy?

And how could you start doing a little bit more of that today?

21. Stop thinking you have to dedicate your whole life to losing weight.

Sure, some of the changes you have to make will be fundamental. But the truth is that you only need a few hours per week to build a great body.

By getting the right kind of help and following simple yet powerful daily practices, anyone can lose weight, get healthy, and feel better.

That’s what Kia realized, and she lost 61 pounds. The big revelation for her:

“No one ever tells you that getting in shape is simple. That you only need a few hours per week to build a great body. That by getting the right kind of help and following simple yet powerful habits, anyone can lose weight, get healthy, and feel better.”

22. Let your taste buds lead the way.

Many people working on new eating habits get derailed by the abundance of processed food, especially when shopping.

Our clients learn how to navigate the supermarket to avoid these temptations.

You’ve heard it before, but it works: Stay on the perimeter.

Instead of being led by shiny packages and tempting marketing tricks, 46-year-old John learned to shop for flavors.

“I ask myself, ‘Where do my taste-buds want to go today?’”. Then he buys real, fresh ingredients (like spices, herbs, fruits, vegetables, etc.) to build a meal around his own inspiration.

And it worked. John lost 106 pounds.

23. You don’t have to do anything, you choose to.

“What I learned was that I had to take responsibility for my own decisions,” says Heather, 37, who lost 47 pounds in Precision Nutrition Coaching.

“I had to get real with myself. I learned the difference between thinking, ‘I have to do x,’ and ‘I choose to do x,’ and ‘I’m doing x.’”

Everyone has to work at it. We’re all imperfect, and so are our lives. So the best thing we can do is to just get out there and make the choice to do our best.

24. Make health programs bend to your needs.

Too often, people become discouraged when exercise and nutrition programs feel like they’ve been written for someone else. And that’s understandable. Because most of them were.

Everyone has different needs.

For sustainable weight loss, there’s no “one size fits all”.

For example, Cheryl lost 68 pounds despite the fact that she was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease — and was asked to avoid strength training — for most of her Precision Nutrition Coaching experience.

No heavy lifting? No problem. We helped her modify the workouts.

“In some ways, the diagnosis was a relief,” Cheryl says. “It became okay for me to admit that I was skipping out on what others were doing in the gym because of pain.”

Just because long distance running worked for your friends, or just because the trainer at your gym tells you to “go heavy or go home”, doesn’t mean that’s what you have to do.

25. Concentrate on what you can do vs. what you’re measuring.

For Precision Nutrition Coaching client Katey, this was an essential lesson from the program:

“You can’t focus on weight loss – that’s not something you can control. What you can control is the process. Your choices. Enough good ones built up over time will lead you to your goals. Work hard on the healthy behaviors, let the rest fall into place.”

Katey read that over a dozen times. “It was such a huge key to… everything. It was something I’d missed before. It was at that moment I stopped focusing on what I wanted to happen and started focusing on the next step.”

If you’ve found yourself obsessing about outcomes — trying to get the scale to budge on a daily basis, for example — try focusing on actions instead.

What are you doing today to help encourage a different outcome later?

26. You can start over every minute, every day.

“I realized I could have a clean slate every time I messed up because this was about my healthy lifestyle, and not just a diet,” says Patricia, 56, who lost 69 pounds with Precision Nutrition.

“Precision Nutrition Coaching taught me habits and changed the way I view my body and the food I put in it. It’s a life plan, and it’s something I know I can manage forever.”

Whether it’s years of yo-yo dieting, or the pizza-and-wings combo you had for dinner last night, you might have some regrets about past behavior.

But you don’t need to let these ideas about “failures” and “mistakes” hold you back.

Don’t beat yourself up, don’t obsess, don’t punish yourself. Wipe the slate clean every minute, every day, and concentrate on now.

27. Unbroken enthusiasm is a myth.

At times it’s a slog — and that’s true for everyone.

“I learned that sometimes you have to drag your a$s to the gym, even if you don’t feel like going. And learning it lifted a huge burden off me,” says Kim, 25, who lost 24 pounds with Precision Nutrition Coaching.

“While the workout may be slow moving and uninspired at first, once you’re there it’s super easy to finish.”

Sometimes workouts feel great. Sometimes the stars align and we cook a perfectly healthy, well-balanced, delicious meal.

Other times, healthy living feels like work. That’s okay.

Love it when it feels good. Let it suck when it sucks. The main thing is to just keep going.

28. Act courageous and brave, even if you’re not yet.

Amazing things can happen when you find the courage to push yourself outside of your comfort zone.

Says Precision Nutrition Coaching client and grand prize winner Lisa (above):

“I learned to be courageous with the activities I try. To have the courage to take time for myself. And to have the courage to be kind to myself, when I need a break or when I look in the mirror.”

Think about what feels scary or uncomfortable for you. How could you just take on a tiny piece of that thing?

Imagine what you might accomplish if you are willing to try.
