Y’all. We made it through 2020! And we have a great way to celebrate: our 2021 Workout Challenge. Like we’ve done in years past (see here and here), we’ve put together a 2021-themed workout using only bodyweight that you can do at home. This year’s workout has a bit of a challenge aspect to it as well: Set a timer for 21 minutes (because, 2021, of course) and see how many rounds you can get through! As always, modify as needed (wall push-ups or push-ups on knees or toes, marching in place or side-stepping for high-impact moves, etc.) and listen…

Earlier this month we shared some of the best free and pay-what-you-can resources and workouts out there. And, if there’s one thing we’ve seen come out of this bananas time, it’s that so many of us have wanted to do more and be of service in any and all ways that we can. Us included. So, in addition to offering access at all price points to our online coaching classes and downloads (use the coupon code “FREE” for 100 percent off,  “HALF” for 50 percent off, or “SEVENTYFIVE” for 75 percent off), we’ve rounded up our best home workouts of…

There are a lot of fun ways to ring in the New Year. Many of them involve goals, champagne, and fresh starts (minus the diet, OF COURSE). But one way we really enjoy welcoming in the new? With a themed workout! We’ve done this for a few years now (see here for a fun one), but here’s the gist: we take the year and design a really fun full-body, no-equipment-needed workout around it. Since it’s now 2020, you’ll be doing 20 reps of the following 20 moves for one sweat-filled and heart-pumping workout! Grab a mat, some water, a towel,…

When I started working out again after having the twins, I need a workout that was quick, full-body, and was something that I could do in a small space at home, without a lot of equipment. After having a tough pregnancy and a rough delivery, I was pretty much at square one for workouts in regards to my strength and fitness, so I also needed something scalable for how I was feeling with my recovery — not to mention how much (or little) sleep I’d gotten. And, not to brag, but I think I came up with a pretty darn…

There are things I truly dig about living in Florida — like the fact that I can pop over to the beach just about any time I want, whether it’s because I’m meeting friends for happy hour after work or want to do an outdoor workout while watching for dolphins. One of the downsides to living here, though, is the fact that we don’t have basements — and homes in my area don’t come with a ton of extra space or storage. So, while some of my friends in other parts of the country have all kinds of cool exercise…

It’s possible to spend a lot of times building out a workout. You can use all kinds of equipment, determine how many reps you want to do for each, break it all down into supersets, really focus on specific muscles working in very particular ways, create brand new combination moves, you name it. You also don’t have to do any of that, if you don’t want to. Now, I’m gonna go ahead and guess that just making time for the workout itself is enough of a commitment on most days — I know that’s the case for me, and I…

I’m not big into using machines at the gym. I definitely prefer free weights — you know, barbells, dumbbells, and kettlebells, oh my! There’s something I just really love about my body having the responsibility of stabilizing and moving the weight along a specific path rather than letting a machine do it. Mostly, I suppose, because this mimics life and the sports I enjoy participating in. But there is one machine that I use frequently — the cable machine. It’s a machine that look like a big tower with a pulley system in the center, and has adjustable weights and…
